No, you do not need a referral from a GP to see a Chiropractor or Physiotherapist.
In Australia, Chiropractors are primary healthcare practitioners. This means that you, the patient, can consult directly directly with out team.
Do we accept Medicare?
In some specific cases, your GP may prepare a Chronic Management Plan, a government health program that was formerly know as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC), Patients with chronic health issues (experienced for a least 6 months) may be eligible for 5 visits to a Chiropractor or Physiotherapist, per year, through this program.
Do we accept health insurance?
We make it easier for our members to afford quality healthcare by accepting credit card and the use of the HICAPS system. This system gives us the option to swipe your membership card. We accept all private health insurance that participate in the HICAPS system.
